Showing posts with the label grandson
I spent the morning running around to fabric stores looking for material to re-upholster two of my dining room chairs... no luck! I'm in a funk again with my house so the cheapest thing that I always do to perk me up and my house is paint, re-upholster, and make new throw pillows. Since I can't find the material I want it's going to have to be only painting this weekend. Tired of my red walls and I'm getting close to being tired of my crosses, but I have too many to get rid of and they all have a story behind them. Once the wall is painted I'll make a decision if they should go back up. Lately I'm tired of everything so hopefully painting is going to get me out of my slump. I have a new addition to my house that my grandson Andrew( 5 years old) made for me. When I came home from California one of my cats had disappeared so he made me a stone in memory of her. Do you see the cat on the stone? Time to get back to work... Happy Saturday! Work joyf...

It's Friday!

I'm happy it's Friday - anyone with me?                                                                                             Had a week of trying to get rid of unneeded and unused items, getting the pup groomed, looking at old photos, (so much for organizing) working on the venue for the next Shutter Release Project, working on my stuff for my business, and Makenna! I just found out yesterday that my grandson started a food blog on Instagram  - I love it! He takes photos of all his meals and has a one liner comment along with rating the meal. I'm going to have to get an ...
Yesterday was a crazy busy day for me, but not a busy day where I felt as if I accomplished things - it felt chaotic. I started out the morning washing my car (that I never get to drive) with the help of Madison and Makenna. I met with my friend Arlene after the car wash at AJ's for coffee, which I needed desperately. I have some mountains that I'm climbing right now and at times it seems like I'm never going to get to the top - it's nice having an adult conversation with a good friend and neutral party. I still wasn't sure where my son was and if he was really okay. Thankfully someone tagged him in photos on facebook yesterday - I was able to get a glimpse of what he was doing and where he was. It seemed as if I had just showed Arlene the picture off of my phone and he called - he came home yesterday evening. Makenna and I just happened to be outside when my husband was driving up to our house. Makenna looked and saw her daddy sitting in the passenger...
