I use to be a huge fan of all the Housewives Reality Shows, but I quit watching since each show turns out to have a cast of grown women fighting like high school girls. But, I decided to watch the reunion of The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Sunday. What I saw was the first 15 minutes and it was pretty calm. It aired again last night so I decided to finish watching, and as usual it was ridiculous.                         Once again it was an episode of jealous caddy women throwing jabs at each other on everything from appearance to she said he said crap. They're bullies. We have anti bullying campaigns to teach kids acceptance and respect for others, but these women are on television bullying and tearing families apart while earning an income and getting their 15 minutes of a fame. They're a horrible example of a mother, a sister, a daughter, a woman and a human being. They're grown up mean girls with no respect. Would...
You all know how I love Reality TV. Although, it's scripted reality it's entertainment that I enjoy. If you want real reality spend a week at my house. I got burnt out on the Housewives of.... don't care what state they're from. I'm tired of their high school mean girl personalities. It's a horrible way to portray women and it sends the wrong message to our young girls. I have never been a mean girl, didn't raise mean girls, and I'm all about women empowering each other. This is why I'm excited about Hollywood Exes - love it! Eddie Murphy's brother pitched the idea to Nicole Murphy, ex-wife of Edidie Murphy to do a reality show on ex wives of famous men. The cast is Nicole Murphy, Sheree Fletcher (Will Smith’s ex), Andrea Kelly (singer R. Kelly’s ex), Jessica Canseco (baseball player Jose Canseco’s ex) and Mayte Garcia (Prince’s ex) It's refreshing to see a group of women that support and embrace each other. There has been no cat ...

Being A Housewife

housewife   [ˈhaÊŠsËŒwaɪf] n   pl   -wives 1.  (Sociology) a woman, typically a married woman, who keeps house, usually without having paid employment. I find myself laughing at all the young girls in their 20's posting on twitter that they want to major in being a housewife. I'm curious what their definition of one would be.  I have worked outside of the home and have been a stay at home mom/housewife. Personally, I enjoy both positions, but I equally enjoy making money. Although I'm home at the moment, I'm always trying to figure out a way to hustle a dollar, but that's just me. To stay home sit and do nothing doesn't exist in my world, besides doing nothing would drive me insane. I run my home like I would my business. Things need to get done correctly and efficiently - some days you put in 12 hours, and typically you don't have weekends off.  I know with all of the reality Housewives shows many young women might get the perception that bei...

Jersey Time

If you read my profile you know that my mom and I are reality tv junkies. Although, Jersey Shore which is on the top of my list has not been viewed by her. I look forward to my Thursday nights with the Jersey Shore. So last night there was a lot of focus on Vinny and his anxiety attacks. Everyone worked hard on trying to convince him that he was in a rut, but he decided to leave anyway. I think he'll be back...don't you? Good old Pauly D brought back a girl from Karma that turned out to be a kleptomaniac. They slept together in the smoosh room and when he left to call her a cab, in her pants went his gold/diamond chain. How many of you thought she'd return? Of course she did wearing the chain and sporting a bikini - come on, wouldn't you return to a hit reality show? Furthermore, Pauly D was feeling pale from being in Italy, but his tanning resulted in him burning his face, "Pauly D problem." As for the little pistol Snooki, she's still dealing with the dr...
