I use to be a huge fan of all the Housewives Reality Shows, but I quit watching since each show turns out to have a cast of grown women fighting like high school girls. But, I decided to watch the reunion of The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Sunday. What I saw was the first 15 minutes and it was pretty calm. It aired again last night so I decided to finish watching, and as usual it was ridiculous.                         Once again it was an episode of jealous caddy women throwing jabs at each other on everything from appearance to she said he said crap. They're bullies. We have anti bullying campaigns to teach kids acceptance and respect for others, but these women are on television bullying and tearing families apart while earning an income and getting their 15 minutes of a fame. Our vacation is over and it feels good to be home! Last night being home, the grandkids gone and sleeping in my own bed felt like I was finally on vacation. Everyone was ready to leave - we made one stop at Tom's friend from high school (Russ) to say goodbye and have one last look at the beautiful view. We came home to news that Tom's father would be going into Hospice on Tuesday. They didn't want to ruin our vacation so they waited to tell us. We knew it was a matter of time before decisions would be made; but you're never really prepared for it. So I anticipate this month being a month of ups and downs filled with mixed emotions... a new chapter in our life. Some days there won't be a song in your heart. Sing anyway. -- Emory Austin Have a super Saturday!

Day 7

We're packing up this morning and heading home. Last night we met a friend from high school and his wife for dinner at The Flying Pig. If you love pork this is the place that you want to eat at - they even have a pork burger. Since I'm not much of a meat eater I had there macaroni and cheese with bacon and their wedge salad with bacon - both delicious! We had a fun time visiting and catching up with Russ and Diane, but the party's over. Have a beautiful Friday!
