Soul Writing Workshop...

I had a great time at my Soul Writing Workshop today! Thank you to everyone that came. I love getting together and hearing each others stories - we all have a story so don't try to deny it. When we share with others we're not only working on healing ourselves, but we might be the one piece of hope that someone needed. Although we're all so different we're also so similar. As I listened to people sharing their life struggles it was like hearing my own story. I had a similar story that I could relate to, just different people. I know I've said it over and over again, but shit happens to all of us - what's important is how you deal with it. It can define you or it can make you stronger. It doesn't matter if we just met, been life long friends, or are family; we need to be supportive of each other. There's always going to be times in life where you feel alone and think that you're the only one going through a particular battle, but remember the...
Yesterday I was talking to one of my sisters from Tucson and she was telling me that she's planning a trip to New Mexico to visit the home that she lived in as a young child because she feels that she needs some closure. She also wants to visit the grave site which I did in my 20's, but I'm willing to go again to...
I'm fried! I'm so exhausted from the week... I feel like I could sleep for 24 hours. It's the kind of exhaustion where you can't even have a conversation because your words come out completely wrong and you pretty much forget what you were going to say by the time you get the right words out. (maybe that part is old age) I'm not sure if I shared with you that my 2.5 year old granddaughter loves to drop the F bomb - once  she starts she just keeps going with it like she's possessed. Here's an example - My daughter's boyfriend came over and here comes Makenna walking down the hall with her hands on her hips..."What you doing in my house, you here every night, this is my house you need to get the F out. (her hand is now waving and head bobbing) You go to your F***ing house, this not your F***ing house."  That's just part of the dialog that went on.                                   ...
