My husband has always been Grandfather/Father for her. Also, I have a son that doesn't fit my definition of a father. He's rarely with my granddaughter so isn't providing for her emotionally, and he definitely doesn't provide for her financially. This isn't the life I wanted for my grandchildren, and if you're a grandparent you know how much it breaks your heart.
