Are You Hanging Out With Chickens

Have you noticed that positive thinking people tend to be happier and are always trying something new? They have the self-confidence within themselves to try new things. No negativity holding them back. They're the go getters of our society and nothing seems to get them down. How many times do you see negative thinking people going that extra mile? In my experience if you push them they'll go that mile, but they're going to complain through the entire process and probably after as well. In fact, complaining and blaming is usually their thing. I have to say my father didn't fit the norm of the negative thinker. He was a successful entrepreneur so he obviously went the extra mile without someone pushing him, but he complained from the time he got out of bed and it didn't stop until he was sleeping. He made sure that everyone around him was as miserable as he was. I honestly don't think people are negative all the time. I think there must be some positive...

Happy

I was working on my poem  I Am  when the word happy kept entering my mind. I'm not really sure why. Maybe its because the kids at preschool were happy to make pizza today, or that I'm suppose to incorporate happy into my poem. I am happy. I'm not going to say that I'm happy all the time, but let's just say that I'm happy the majority of the time.  For me happiness is based on my outlook on life. If I spent each day picking out everything that annoys me I would be pretty miserable - so I choose to embrace the good. It's a lot healthier to focus on the positive and be thankful for it. Once you develop positive thinking happiness follows.  Change your thinking and you'll change your life! Happy Thursday! Peace, love & hugs!

Lovely Logics

I thought 7 Lovely Logics is a great way to start off the week. If you apply these 7 simple logics to your life daily you will be amazed at the growth and change in yourself. 1.We all know that the past is the past and we need to learn from it and let it go. We can't have it haunt us and keep us hostage - break the chains of your past and start living and loving life. 2. It really isn't our business what others think of us. Everyone will have an opinion and not everyone is going to like us. That's a fact of life. Live a life of purpose, be kind, loving, giving, and the best you that you can possibly be. If it feels good in your soul and it's pleasing to God... that's all that really matters. 3. Everything in life takes time, but with letting go of the past and loving yourself healing follows. Healing is a process - it's not a quick and easy fix. Time, patience, diligence, and faith lead to healing. 4. This is true...We are responsible for our happi...

Live Life To Its Fullest

Everyone that knows me well is very familiar with me preaching that life is short so live it to its fullest because none of us know what the future has in store for us. Many years ago when I was in insurance they constantly preached to us that none of us know our demise. I really started thinking about how true that was and decided I really needed to live my life. Which brought me to the conclusion that a corporate life wasn't for me, but it also made realize that we need to slow down and do the things that we love. No excuses that there isn't enough time or enough money. We need to be true to ourselves and make the time. I didn't wake up thinking about life being short until my husband checked his work email and learned that his boss passed away this morning. He was younger than us and has a young child and a wife that he has left behind, and of course many many loved ones. It's so sad and so hard to believe at this very moment. When you arise in the morning, t...

March 3 is … I Want You To Be Happy Day, Peach Blossom Day and National Anthem Day. I'm going to focus on the Be Happy Day since I'm annoyed that I accidently deleted the blog that I was going to post. In fact, I'm going to blame it on one of those stupid emails that people send giving you so much time to resend it. I opened the email last night and resent it today. It said I would have a bad morning if I didn't send it immediately. It just didn't seem urgent last night when I was drinking my Sangria and making fun of the drunk girls at the table in front of me. But, I did good at the neighborhood yard sale considering my items were $1, and I found a beautiful patio set for a great price - so far, I'm a happy camper! So make it a happy one today! Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking  - Happy-man
